February 6th was World Nutella Day in the food blog world. This site has all sorts of wonderful information about the event. Some of the recipes look fascinating!

Every day is Nutella day to my oldest daughter -asks about the calorie content of everything else but Nutella doesn't count (think we all have some of those foods)

I really shouldn't have clicked into this thread so close to lunchtime... Now my stomach is angrily protesting the fact that it's been denied Nutella for several months.

Oh....it now is a staple in my house.....

Today the Food Network features "All About Chocolate". This morning Giada and her mother made Nutella Ravoli. She used wonton skins, filled them with Nutella and fried them. She sprinkled them with powdered sugar and garnished with mint leafs. Yummy!!!

I was a proud participant in World Nutella Day! It happened to fall on my mom's birthday, so I devised a Nutella Birthday Cake for her (which my sister made and presented to her). Bryan wolfed down the majority of my version Recipe is on my blog.

I've also taken to spooning Nutella into my afternoon caffe instead of sugar. Much more satisfying!
