You people are responsible for getting me hooked on Pocket Coffee. I'd be mad if I didn't like it so much. It is addictive. And, you should know that I started a new job last month. Guess what? I got my boss addicted to Pocket Coffee!
I decided to be a good employee and get her a private supply. I went to the website and found this:
FREE Shipping (extended by popular demand). To redeem your 25% off coupon for any CASE (6 boxes of 18 or 8 boxes of 32) of Pocket Coffee enter coupon code 200625 when providing billing information in the shopping cart.
Good deal! I had to order. If you share my addiction, you may want to place an order. Don't forget, you can always send some to me!
Wow that is expensive. Even with 25% off and free shipping; $20.62 for a box of 32? Ouch. I buy them for €5.25. I've gotten some friends hooked, so I have to bring some home every time.
I've seen discussion here of bringing 5 or 10 bottles of wine in a carry-on. That I can't understand (break your shoulder lifting the bag), but 5 or 10 boxes of Pocket Coffee makes perfect sense.
By the way, they are very hard to find between Apr. and Sept/Oct.; the shopkeepers tell me that they melt in the summer, so they only stock them in winter.

I don't think they're made during the summer. That's why most of the bottom shelf of my fridge is loaded with them . Hopefully we have enough to make it through the summer!
I do think I'd have to break the habit for these prices, though!

Kevin, My order arrived today. I was a bit worried because we've been having hot weather the past few days. But I didn't have to worry. The pocket candies were packed in a foam cooler with two ice packs. Everything survived! Sharon
Boy, am I glad I'm allergic to those babies. They sound yummy, yummy, yummy! I'm having a hard enough time giving up Special K bars now that I am pre-diabetic and watching my blood sugar like crazy!
I got my box of Pocket Coffee yesterday, so two are gone. I know I can't get any more until the fall. So I am in a friendship dilemma: Kim and Ellen are coming for lunch tomorrow. Shall I offer them Pocket Cofee for dessert? Wait, Ellen doesn't like coffee at all, so I am saved! I can surely spare one for Kim.

OK...so do you desert folks make it "ice" coffee?? Just saw where it is going to be 115 degrees this weekend and of course, i have to work out there the next couple of weeksA! YIKES
I know several of you on the East coast have received your shipments of the Pocket Coffee with ice packs intact. Has anybody on the West coast received a shipment?
With these plus 100 temps around here, I am still kind of worried . . .
I just called Capri Flavors to see if my order was being shipped out - I placed it yesterday morning, and it was shipped out last night. 5 days to California, but they think the ice will last until it gets here.
I checked their website before calling (to get the phone number), and guess what? The price since yesterday has gone down more than the 25% discount! Only .50 per piece instead of the .62 per piece that I just paid.
Talk about lack of timeing - that's me!
The young lady was very nice and said they were just selling off their last shipment before they closed down orders for the summer.
I will post more next week when they arrive. Wish me luck!
I just experienced my very first Pocket Coffee! The package arrived about 15 minutes ago - 5 days from North Carolina to California. It was packed in a styrofoam cooler with icepacks. They were melted, but the candy is fine.
Yum! I love coffee and I love chocolate, so these are perfect. Only hope they will last until the fall when they are available again.
I just checked the CapriFlavors website, and they are still taking orders - price is pretty good too - $18 for a package of 32 and $32 for a package of 64.
Susi, it's an Italian chocolate candy with a shot of liquid espresso in the centre. It's not made in the summer months, because the chocolate melts and the coffee leaks out. See Pauline's post at the top of the thread for a link to the Italian Candy page. (Sorry, Sharon, for the duplicate post, I think you were posting while I was typing!)
Used Pocket Coffee... Actually I think that the only defect of Pocket Coffee is that they're so difficoult to share... (I mean: 1 Pocket Coffee for 2 people)
I am so excited! I have been dying to try Pocket Coffee, since I somehow missed knowing about it on my trips to Italy, and last night I found some.
After four long a gruelling days at work, I stopped at the grocery store on my way home. I was feeling cranky because it was the second night in a row I had gone in to find that the produce hadn't been replenished, and I was desperate for some fresh salad ingredients.
I was walking down an aisle for the second time when I spotted it. Now the question is, will I have the self discipline to make it last?
I plan to enjoy my first piece after lunch today. I can hardly wait.
