Hello,

Information on olive oil is requested - I was under the impression that when purchasing olive oil one looked for words to the effect that the oil is a first press under cold conditions (e.g. first cold press or some variation of the words). I do not see that in many of the extra virgin olive oils being now sold in the market. For example, the Badia a Coltibuono (excellent Tuscan olive oil), does not indicate that it is a cold press. So, is that a marketing hype? How do I know I am getting an excellent quality olive oil. We use ours cold, i.e. do not cook with it, at least not the extra virgin olive oils. AG Ferrari sells oil on line and provides a descrition of each one. I've had pretty good luck on this web site finding oils that I enjoy. Here is the link:
