I hope it's okay I post this, but I have a question for those with blogs. I recieved an email today from a guy named Kent Whitaker, whose website is thedeckchef.com. He says he's a food writer, and is taking over the writing of a book called Alaska Hometown Cooking. He wants to use some recipes from my blog along with a photo of my husband and I. Has anyone heard of him, or know if this is legitimate?

I don't have a blog, but -- have you Googled him? Or the title of the book? I see that he joined ST today as "The Deck Chef" (new member list at lower right of forum).

Colleen-I did google him after I posted this message, and it looks legit. He's been on Emeril Lagasse(prob spelled that wrong) and they sell his books on Amazon, with good reviews. I wasn't sure if it was okay to post the message, so thanks for the response.
