The dessert at our New Year's Bash at the Club included a fancy ice cream, which was described as a Mint Chocolate Chip Callet ice cream.

Che cosa vuol dire, "callet?"

After doing a search I have only come up with a reference to bulk chocolate.

Just curious.

Callets are chocolate drops used in professional kitchens as they melt better. So using chip and challet in the same item is weird unless they mean the grape variety (doubtful in a chocolate and mint ice cream) or the trumpeteer (maybe it was served in trupet molds?) or upon further research, a callet is a prostitue Eek
