Announcing a new section to the website: Dean's Wine Notes.
http://www.slowtrav.com/italy/food/wine.htm

I added Dean's notes on wine to the Food section and I moved Amy's list of Tuscany Wineries from Travel Notes to our new Wine section.

If you have a list of favorite wineries, send it to me and I will add it to the section.

Dean promises a section on Tuscany wines after his next trip and I will try to coordinate with him to get some images of wine labels to add to the pages - or maybe some other fun photos of wine!

Thanks Dean!!

I want to add a list of links and wine guide books to this section. If you have any favorites, post them here and I will add them.

Thanks for the page. Its really neat.

I finally broke down and bought an all in one fax scanner printer copier microwave. Only kidding about the microwave part. If you put a bag of popcorn on the glass all you get is a picture of the corn. The corn is popped in the picture tho wink.

Seriously, as soon as I figure out how to scan photos (you know, those paper thingies that you take with old fashion cameras) into the machine I will send a small collection to Pauline. I actually thought about buying a digital cam based on an earlier thread, but I saw this really cute 19-35 f3.5 zoom and, well I had to sneak home and put it in my camera bag before my wife got home..... big grin

If I can resist taking my laptop to the airport, my next post will be from Toscan

If life is an opera by Puccini... I want to be Calaf!
