There are several supermarkets in Pian di Porto/Ponterio as you exit. On the other hand S. Terenziano for example is not Antarctica, there are food shops there....

Hi Lez,

There is a SIDIS supermarket in Pian di Porto/Ponte Rio, just off the Todi Nord exit of the E45 (close to where the S448 and the E45 meet at Ponte Rio). It's in the ground floor of a brick apartment building, just across the street from the Europalace hotel. If you come from Orvieto on the S448, continue past Todi/Ponte Rio and go under the small overpass for the E45, then curve left and take the first right turn...the SIDIS is on the corner on your right.

San Terenziano and Grutti both have small grocery stores, but the SIDIS has everything you could need in one place (good meat counter, etc.) and they also carry housewares, clothes, etc. In fact, when you enter the door you're actually in the clothing section, and you have to wind around into the grocery section of the store...took me by surprise the first time I went there!

Yep, since I've worked in Antarctica (for over two years cummulatively) I use the Italian version of Antarctica for a screen name!
