Thanks, Diva. CdiM was the location given in the review - and I didn't double check it. I'll make that correction.

Achiugette for chicetti is superb. For a meal, it is dog food! I am glad you survived!!!

Dean, we actually went in at Aciugheta, as you suggested, for cicheti but the counter was practically empty of cicheti, except those which (I guess) were placed in Josette's salad.

N.B. I came across 3 spellings of cicheti:

cicheti
ciccheti
cichetti

I will place this question on the Italian thread.

In reviewing Doru's review for Antica Trattoria La Torre, I noticed that we have two reviews for a "La Torre" - also in Castellina in Chianti.

There isn't enough identifying detail on the others to confirm if they're the same place - but how many "La Torre's" could there be in Castellina?!

What do you think?

And if Jane from CA and/or Karen {formerly of PA} see this - help!

I am sure it is the same. It's just that I used the full name. I am sure that locals just refer to it as "La Torre".

This is why it is so important to submit full details, such as address, telephone number, etc.

N.B. Thanks, Colleen, for the quick corrections!
