Hi all

I've edited, sorted, labelled and uploaded photos from my recent trip to Perdifumo and San Quirico d'Orcia to a new album. It still needs some work, but here they are.

Ooooh, another set of excellent photographs (including food !). I really enjoyed these, being qute fond of the Cilento region (I have been several times, staying just outside of Santa Maria Di Castellabate.

Marian, I enjoyed these! Thanks!

I especially liked the views from the Villa Trotta, the fortezza photos-- including the ones looking toward Monte Amiata, and that wonderful looking bruschetta from the Latte di Luna. (We ate there too, and now I really wish I'd ordered that!)

Thanks, Kathy.

As for Latte di Luna ---- we had the most incredible meal there not only in terms of the food (which was ....can't find the words) but also in terms of the lovely service from our waiter.

More in my trip report, which I have just started working on.

Sea & sky, I could almost smell the ocean. I also liked the bruscetta photo, it looked like a valentine on the plate. Prepared with lots of love. Smile

What a great way to start my day, looking through your wonderful photos and drinking a killer cup of coffee! Coffee

Loved all the pics, a few favorites:
Bay of Palinuro, breathtaking! Did you stick your toes in the water? was it cold? The archway picture from San Quirico, love the colors and the detail Thumbs Up

I love how they trim the ivy around the "Caseificio" sign at Tenuta Vannulo Thumbs Up

Radicofani Fortezza pictures, wow! that's the kind of place I would love to visit.

and of course, the views from Villa Trotta, the perfect place to sit and read.

I'm looking forward to your trip report too!

I am so proud that I drove up there ALL BY MYSELF! The Queen

(Of course, after the roads in the Cilento mountains, the hills of Tuscany hold no terrors.)

I didn't put my feet in the water at Palinuro, but I waded in at Santa Maria di Castellabate. The water felt fairly comfortable; I guess those bays are protected.

Marian,

Thanks for the wonderful pictures. Were all the beach visits trips from the villa? I'll be eagerly awaiting your trip report (although I know they do take time -- especially with as many adventures as you had).

Roz: All the beach trips were from the villa. We went to Palinuro, Santa Maria di Castellabate, Acciaroli, Scario ..... we never got as far as Sapri, but then we didn't really try. I think we also stopped at Pisciotta.

They're great Marian, and I'm so glad you posted them so my family can quit bugging me about not having taken any pictures of my own!

I have been working on sorting the photos by number, in preparation to inserting some of my brother's photos along the way. And I may have (certainly have Frown) temporarily screwed up the order.

So I request: Patienza, mi amici.

Marian - thanks for posting these. They bring back great memories of Tuscany, and whet mu desire to travel south in Italy sometime soon.

How lucky to have TWO trips to Italy this year! Just enough time in between to write up your trip report for us all to enjoy.
