Good read! A friend in Venice showed me some photos from a trip to Sardinia last year - what a beautiful place! I enjoyed reading your article and learning more about it.

Lovely place - we were there in August. I know, I know, just the time to avoid - but we are still locked into the short UK school summer holidays and we were right at the end, when lots of Italians were leaving. Even then, you could find quiet beaches - and the clarity of the water is just wonderful.

Peter, I was able to visit your beautiful island this past February. At that time of year the weather was crisp but the sunshine shone and I was able to enjoy walking on some beautiful beaches. I enjoyed the historic areas of Cagliari too and had some wonderful meals in the city and at the beach at Poetto. I would love to return someday.
