I'm searching for a B & B or village hotel or nice agriturismo in the northern Novara province, between Lakes Orta & Maggiore from which I can take day trips to each. I've come up with a small few, but wonder what others may know about.

Thanks,

Karen

We rented the apartment "Casa degli Archi" from the owner- Mariella for a week last summer. We have usually rented in the countryside, this was a nice, reasonably quiet, small town/village for an intown stay and I would probably go back. Her website is: http://www.holidayorta.com/intro_eng.htm
The town is easy to get to and we had no lack of touring options (by car) for our one week stay.

Go to www.orta.net and look for some apt. rentals and more. We like to stay at Orta San Guilio and day trip to Maggiore/Stresa---about a :45 drive and a pretty drive.

Grazie. Wow, I'm drooling over Villa Pascolo, Bob ;^) But I've now got my eye on a charming B&B near Divignano...We'll see.
