Sorry the child in me can't help but get excited about this.. there are really huge snowflakes coming down..unfortunately, it is not sticking, but people are happier than usual: smiling on the streets, singing in the bars....I get the feeling it is quite rare!

Amazing! This is the second time I've seen snow in Rome. I hope it starts to stick.

You can see the flakes on the Hilton's webcam (Brian's is offline ) Either that or the camera is dirty.

I wish I were there! I've always wanted to see the Pantheon with snow coming in.

Tell me about it I wish I were somewhere better as well. I was in my apartment for it watching a movie. early this morning I was in St. pete's square and there was a flurry or two but nothing to get excited over. i just wish that I could of been somewhere with a better background setting.
