Wanting to go to Sperlonga in September 2005. having difficulty finding rental accommodation. Has anyone got any recommendations either in Sperlonga or nearby?

Angela, welcome to the board!

If you go to Sperlonga you must read William Murray's "The Last Italian", specifically Chapter five: "The Spoils of Sperlonga"! A bit of history, and the modern story. Fascinating.

We have rented this apartment in Sperlonga for 10 days in June '05. (The covered roof veranda was the clincher).The landlord seems very accomodating and helpful. I'll let you know how things turned outr after we return.
