I have never heard of it. You could PM Gail Hecko... If any one knows she will. Is it a food market? Sounds like it would be worth the short drive~ we could see Castelmuzio from our back patio in Montisi.

Yes, I've been there several times! Great place to buy some of Italy's best EVOO--Castelmuzio is famous for its particularly tasty olive oil. Also you can buy wine, cheese, and many other tasty items...also handmade linens and things. Here's an article on it, written in Italian.... and this is a quote pulled from Le Casine di Castello's website: Castelmuzio has its very own specialty outlet mall that is utterly unique and so different from the ones just described! The Spaccio di Filiera Corta (or outlet of small industries) "Dal Podere al Palato" (from the farm to the palate) brings together in one place the finest agricultural and artisanal products in the local area of Trequanda, the region of Castelmuzio. Every Saturday and Sunday you can buy the finest extra virgin olive oil in all of Italy, meats, wine, cheese, cold cuts, honey, jams and preserves as well has hand-crafted items that are produced within just a few km of the market!
