My husband and I love to go to local food markets. Which are some of your favorites in the Piedmont area?
I found a list on the In Italy site. But I don't know if those markets will be open during March when we are there.
What do you think? Carrot1

Could you link the list? Anyhow, open-air markets are usually weekly all year round. organic open-air markets are usually monthly, all year round.

Here is the link for the Piedmont Markets.
Are there any that are better than others? Or does the same market travel from town to town.

The list on the website link is very incomplete.

Some vendors travel from market to market but no two markets are identical. Some have farm equipment and animals, some yarn and fabric, some food. As Alice says, outdoor markets go all year round, and most moderately sized towns have them. Just ask at the tourist information office in Cherasco, it is almost directly on the largest crossroads in town, they can give you the days (the people there probably know the market days for all the local towns).
