Welcome back to Canada! I am so pleased that you enjoyed your trip. It was great to meet you in Rome. I'm glad that you enjoyed our favourite restaurant in Rome. I just got our pictures developed and stare longingly at the food shots I took of our meals there.

Now if I had known that you were going to be passing out wine at the airport in Toronto I would ahve made arrangements to meet you there! LOL

Are you planning the return trip already? We are.

This time I think we stay in apartments in Rome and Venice for a week each and spend two weeks back at the villa in Tuscany because we loved it so much. The night before we were leaving the villa my mom lay in her bad depressed because we had to leave and tried to convince us to stay there for another week! If I had known the 'fresh new hell' we'd experience finding the train station in Florence the next day I just might have!

You are lucky - a dumping of snow just to make you feel truly at home.
