Will be in Florence 12/25 & 12/26. Concerned that some places might be closed, especially restaurants on 12/25. Is 12/26 a holiday? Will museums be open on 12/26? Please email responses to: andrefs@aol.com

Dec. 26th is a festivity. Sometimes the day is even more dead than Christmas day. Assume most museums will be closed; some may be open, but this is often decided only few days in advance. Last year Uffizi, Accademia and Pitti were open on Dec. 26th, but there is no guarantee they will open also this year.

I would contact your hotel about making you lunch and dinner reservations. They shold know what is open and not. Almost everything will be closed due to the holiday, but Florence is a walking town and you can doplenty of that in those two days...
