Hey guys, I'm going to be traveling to Rome soon and I was wondering what the age restrictions are for clubs and bars. Basically anything that you would have to be 18 or 21 to do in the USa. (Except for driving)
Hi, I am not exactly sure, but I have seen teenages (late teens) at pubs and discos. Unless it is a specific age limit I would guess as long as you can pay there would be no problem. However, the Italians extreme frown on acts of public drunkeness.

None. Children under the age of 16 (I think) may not buy sigarettes or other tobacco products, but if they state that they are buying them for their parents, the tobacconist will sell them all the same. Legal age for sex is 13 (as long as the oldest partner is not older than three years more than the younger partner), driving a voting are at 18.
