I am travelling from Naples Airport on Sun 15 May to Sorrento with my wife.We are staying 5 nights at the Europa Palace Hotel. The plane lands at 1030 and we are hoping to catch the Curreri Bus to Sorrento.Could anybody tell us if the bus usually gets full or can you usually get a seat ok.Any comment on the hotel would be appreciated.
I guess I can't comment on the bus situation...We were too tired after the flight to want to deal with public transportation, we hired a driver to pick us up at the airport and drive us to our hotel in Sorrento. Looking back, I'm glad we did it that way. It cost us more, but to us it was well worth it. It cost us 80 Euros (in 2003). We hired Renato Cuomo...he met us at the airport with our name on his sign and drove us the approximate hour from Naples to our hotel door in Sorrento. (http://www.carsorrento.it/) Sorry I can't answer your bus question, but I thought I'd put in my two cents about hiring a driver.

Thanks Lou for your suggestion I think we may try the bus anyway. Our flight is only 3 hours from Manchester England so hopefully we won't be too tired to give it a try.
The Curreri bus is great. You catch it right outside the arrivals terminal at the airport. We took it in mid-morning on a week day and there was plenty of room. I should add that we took the earliest bus (I think it was around 6:30 or 7:00 a.m.) back on a Saturday and it was full.
