I was driving up the coast when I came up on a bus. The girl who had just gotten off the bus was wearing a large expedition pack. Think big enough to go into the wild for a few weeks. Stuffed to over flowing. But wait she had planned! She was dragging a lawn chair behind her. Happy I know the beach is a tough place. The bar/pizza place is a good 100 metre walk but if she packs like this for morning at the beach Roll Eyes

I know people who go to the beach not only packing a launch chair but also cushions that go with it.
My bro used to pack his slippers to go camping.
I don't know what goes on in the head of overpackers. Not Worthy

I had one lady in my group who brought along flippers because we were spending a few nights in spa hotel. Only thing is that our trip was really to attend concerts and the opera.

She eventually bought 4kg of coffee beans to add to her huge suitcase - which she tried to get everyone else to help her carry...

As a confirmed overpacker with a bad back, the lawn chair seems to be perfectly fine. I spent some time on a beach in Greece without a chair (no, not even I will take it on a plane) and suffered for months. ---Marlene
