Very good photos on the website.

Are many of the photos in the coffee book tilted to the right like the one I seen on the website?

None are tilted to the right. The photos are spectacular and really capture the people, events and arcitecture.

Okay, now that I see that you're a photographer. What do you mean by tilted?

He means that the photographer didn't correct for perspective so in some cases, the photos ARE indeed horribly tilted! Look at the Cathedral in Orvieto, or the photo of San Marco. I wouldn't go so far as to say they are *all* tilted, but the ones that are, are badly so.

Actually Bill, they aren't all tilted to the right...I found a couple tilted to the left Smile

Given Photography is art... I suppose that is his artistic license.

I too am unimpressed by the photos; given the subject matter, it ought to be easy to make good photos, although some of the problem, the muddy skies for example, might lie in inexpert scanning.

As for the tilt, buildings with tall towers, to one side especially, are very difficult to take, since they tend to lean in thru perspective; but the systematic tilt here, assuming it's not a scanning problem of some kind, well . . . I discovered, or rather, a doctor friend of mine pointed out to me instantly, where my own tilt (the last few years, about 0.8° to the right) came from: I tend to stand with my left foot slightly forward. I've been working on correcting it; in the meanwhile, though, I've corrected I dunno how many hundreds of photos in PhotoShop, tilting them back again!
