Wonderful as always, Valerie! Seems like your new town is a great place to spend a few months. Especially with good bread and a friendly fish monger!

Hi Chiocciola! Thanks! It is a nice place. We have enjoyed some great hikes as well as the archeological sights. Some friends visited recently who hadn't been to this area before and they really loved it (especially the super-fresh fish!)

Valerie, I have enjoyed reading this article and your blog (and Bryan's), especially since we have rented Villa Virginia at Santa Maria di Castellabate for a family holiday next summer (early planning).

I have been following your move to the area with interest and would appreciate any recommendations for restaurants, local wine, where to buy good bread, fish (I'm with you on avoidance of the gooey stuff!) or anything else that a 'local' would know that might save us a few days of searching.

Hi Sheena! You're going to love it! It's a good place for a family gathering with lots of varied scenery and activities. I've been making notes of places so I'll give you the list once I've finished it.

Hi Jane! Sounds like you missed January'sarticle. We have a couple more weeks here in our house-sitting gig.
