Robert, I would stay patient. The fuel surcharge is an up arrow to the cost of the flight, but I don't think it's as big of an up arrow as people believe it to be. I still think you have to stay diligent and monitor the fare changes almost on a daily basis. Because there will be a day when almost inexplicably the fare will be much lower. And that's when you buy. That said, you do need to get a ticket and sooner or later you'll buy a ticket no matter what the price is. I just don't think that moment is now considering a sept 30 departure date. I would get nervous around May-June timeframe.
