Hello everyone,
I was researching on Palermo, but was unable to find if there is a luggage storage at the port.

Some of the Italian sites seem to mention it, but I was unable to find someone who actually used it.

Apparently there is also one at the train station? How bad is the train station area in Palermo?

Thank you for any input.

According to this website, there is indeed luggage storage at the Palermo port, open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.:

There is also luggage storage at the central train station. (This is confirmed on the Trenitalia website).

The area of the station looks seedy the first time you go there (but nowhere near as bad as Napoli Centrale); acceptable on a return visit.

This was my own impression in 2000 and again in 2005.
