Once again, you have outdone yourself! Thanks for bringing the "crisp air" to us here in Florida where we have not gone below 70 degrees Fahrenheit in 180 days!
Big surprise for you weather wise too... Vince is moving toward Portugal! He was downgraded this AM to a tropical storm due to your colder waters and should break apart before it makes landfall. However, you normally don't get those!!
A presto! Doug

Hi Doug
First of all thanks for your nice words
About Vince: yea, I think that it's the first time that a "real" hurricane approach the european scenario and our Europe satellite image.
Usually we can see sometimes the "rests" of some tropical hurricane approacing the central-north atlantic and brings some wind/rain on UK, but nothing more. This time Vince was still a "living" hurricane (F1 scale) till near Portugal. As you said, this morning it was declassed to "tropical storm", for luck !
Your photographs are so beautiful and crisp! Can I ask what kind of camera and lens you are using? Also I really like the way you have framed your pictures so that there is room for text on the mat. What kind of program do you use to do that? It gives them a really professional look. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Leta
My digicam is at the moment a Canon Powershot S1 IS. It's a "complete" digicam with lot of options, a nice optical zoom (10x), excellent quality fo the videos, sharp photos etc. I've it since december 2004 and I'm very happy of it; anyway now in commerce there is the "upgradet" version, the S2
