We will be in Florence and Tuscany in late May. My daughter-in-law makes jewelery and is hoping I will bring her back some lovely Italian glass beads for her craft. Does anyone have a suggestion where I might find such an item? Many thanks.

Glass beads are traditionally produced in Venice, but in Florence you may find shops carrying them. I know one is near Santa Croce, but probably there are others.

there is a store that sells svarowsky crystal beads. They cost a fortune but are very nice. However, i'll be darned if i can remember where it is. Does this ring a bell with anyone?
