Thanks so much Rebecca! I've always been curious about river rafting in Umbria and now I've got your great description to recommend to our guests this season. I'm also wondering about the time of year and requiring wet suits. Is the water warm or cold? You mentioned great swimming too. Were wetsuits required?

We went both times in August, and the water was icy!

You definitely need wetsuits, but both the companies mentioned provide them as part of the service. You just need to bring a swimsuit and towels.

My son did it last year and this year he'll go again with the school as a school trip, how cool.
