I will be staying in Venice by myself. Will I experience difficulty in getting a table for one? I know there are a few places that sit you at long tables with other diners and I suspect will be happy to fill in a single, but what of the two and four place table restaurants?
Thank you
Jim

Hi Jim,
I've frequently dined solo in Venice, and have never had a problem getting a table for two, nor have I been given "attitude" about it.

[I'm editing your title ... "tavola" is the correct spelling.]

I recently spent 10 days in Venice on my own and dined at a wide range of restaurants without being a single every being an issue. I was always made to feel welcome and in many cases felt that I was really being spoilt.
