This summer we are going to Bardolino with the intention of not hirng a car. One of the things we want to do is attend teh Opera in Verona. getting there is simple enough, but can anyone advise the best method for returning after the Opera finishes.
Thanks

I think you are going to have to hire a taxi, and I would do a cost comparison between hiring one directly from Verona and one that picks you up from the train station in Peschiera del Garda. It's conceivable but I would be surprised if there are buses and boats running between the towns on Lago di Garda by the time you get back from the opera. It may be that the hotels in Bardolino could give you prices on taxi fares from Verona or from PdG.

You could also try making an arrangement to be picked up in Peschiera del Garda by a private motorboat and taken back to Bardolino that way. Might be rather memorable if the moon is out.
