So finally, the big day arrives, we leave tonight for Rome, via London, and a reunion with our student daughter in Siena on Thursday. We are so happy for the opportunity to return to Italy just months after our summer '05 trip.
The advice on this board once again was invaluable and I'm going with another notebook of photocopies. Special thanks to Jim and Megan for the Lerici/CT advice and to Cristina for her Siena advice and help.
I'm a report behind already but it won't stop me from taking notes and this time, just maybe, I'll write it all up.
