Can anyone suggest any hotels in the historical centre of Todi, I will be travelling alone and will not have a car. There seems to be lovely villas etc but they are all out of town

What is your price range? One of the most central hotels for Todi is the Hotel Bramante. It is a lovely 4-star hotel in the middle of the town.

Sorry, that was not the hotel that I meant to post that was in the center of Todi!
That's what I get when I post at 6:00 Am without coffee.

This is the central Todi property I was thinking of : Hotel Fonte Cesia and it is also a lovely property and a 4-star hotel.

The Hotel Bramante looks lovely, but in case it's a bit out of your range I also have notes from a SlowTrav discussion about two convents in Todi which sound nice. Don't know if they have curfews, but I wouldn;t think that would matter so much there as in a big city.
