We're travelling to Assisi in July and staying at Brigolante. We would appreciate any suggestions or recommendations from past travellers as to what to do (and what NOT to do for that matter)

Thanks for your help

Welcome to Slowtrav, Bill & Wendy...
Another Canuck! How coolCool...

How long are you staying in the area, Bill and Wendy? Are you staying the whole time at Brigolante? (Lucky you, if you are!)

We have a great search function here on Slowtrav...look to the right side of this post, click on "Search the Slowtrav Site" and key in Assisi or Umbria or other interesting topics, and you will get posts and trip reports on that subject from our archives...

Have fun!

Adding my own welcome and a tip: tell us just a bit more, since people and trips differ so widely, it makes a big difference to the usefulness of the responses you'll get. (How long are you staying, what are you interested in, do you have physical accessibility issues, are you driving or relying on public transportation, budget, etc.) And yes, do use that search button, since without it you'll just catch whoever happens to be awake and online these days, and thus only a small pocket of advice.

Rather than have answers to the same questions in two places, I'm closing this thread and will link to the new one from here.
