Thanks for all your replies to my previous posting. I actually did a photo blog of my trip that can be found at: http://bobmindysitaly.blogspot.com If you click on the photos, they will appear in a larger size. By posting this, would it still be needed by people for me to do a travel report on this sight? (lots of writing!) Thanks, Mindy

Mindy, I enjoyed your story (of the two of you) and many of your photos as well as your enthusiastic comments on what you saw. The style is more in the style of a personal photo album but it's a very nice look at the places you visited.
I got a good idea of the beauty you saw in the various places. Especially love Venice shots.
Thanks for these Mindy of Medford! (my sister lived in nearby Melrose for several years). This weekend, I plan to plunk my husband down in front of all this so he can get a feel for where we could explore next year. Great shots and text!

Mindy (what a perfect name).... anyway, I have been mesmerized by your photos and trip blog. You are a brillant writer and your photos are beautiful beyond words! Your time at Vento di Rose sounds like a magical dream come true. You and Bob must dream about it all of the time!
Maybe you could write up a review HERE and then it will be on this site so others can read about what a great place it is to stay. Any reviews would be appreciated! (restaurants included). Also, I think a trip report for slowtrav would be perfect too!
thank you so much for sharing your wonderful vacation with us.
Tell me, does Bob have any nice, eligible friends named Bob? we could travel together and be Mindy and Bob and Mindy and Bob! (all of a sudden I'm singing "The Name Game" in my head)
Seriously, your report and pictures were a pleasure!
Hope you and Bob can join us the next time we have a Boston area GTG!
Please, please write reviews of the places you stayed including their web addresses for those of us who might want to splurge. I must say that the two of you don't look old enough to have been a couple since the 70's. Loved the blog and photos. I've seen those same very friendly olive fellows at the truffle festival in Norcia. Jeanne

Thanks, everyone, for your wonderful replies. Andrys, NancyL and Ready to Travel, I really appreciated your comments. Karrie- feel free to email me to chat- where in MA are you from? Evets- yes, Bob is one "smooth operator"- really a romantic, part of why we've been happily married for 28 years. I think meeting your spouse in Piazza San Marco also helps to always have a sense of magic in your marriage! Thanks so much, Pokey. Sorry, no brothers or friends named Bob! By the way, I did fill out reviews where you directed me to, which hopefully will appear soon. Jeannew, thanks for your comments. How cool that you saw the "olive guys" too! By the way, Vento di Rose was not a splureg like castello di Monterado- it was only 75 euro per night with that breakfast! Thanks again, everyone. What a great site and group of people this is!
