Hi DeeZee - Welcome! Have you looked through the car/limo listings on the Slow Travel site HERE? It looks as if at least two of them provide longer distance services than just airport to city.

We used Limo Service Rome last year and were pleased with the service. They confirmed the reservation quickly and the driver was waiting for us when we arrived. Whisked us into town and dropped us at the hotel, all at a reasonable price. ( www.limoservicerome.com)

You can also try Auto Europe at 1-800-223-5555. They have a limo rental division. Martin

Hi..this can be a pain in the butt especially if your villa is out of the way a little. We had 15 people with us in May in a villa and my suggestion would be to just get the car and go yourself! You'll manage O.K. and then you can be assured that you get the car from Hertz. Dealing with car rental places in obscure locations is one big hassle!..Believe me! They don't answer the phone, they don't have the right kind of vehicle, they're not open when you want them to be! etc. You can rent a van from "www.thrifty.it" fairly inexpensively. That's what we did and it was great. Rachelle
