I remember a thread from a few months ago where farm apartments in Chianti which welcomed (or didn't) toddlers were discussed, but I tried to search it a few days ago and I guess I'm not putting in the right magic words.

I am looking for the above for the first week of July for two couples with a toddler each. Any suggestions (or the original thread) would be greatly appreciated.

funny when I think of Chianti. I don't think of south of Siena.

Thanks, Marta...that's what I was looking for. Unfortunately, Diva's right. I remembered the area as being further north, but instead rentals around Pienza were discussed.

If anyone has any particular recommendations a little further north, I'll take 'em. I'm working through the reviews in the meantime.

Why don't you give Gaynor a call ( www.labellatoscana.net ) - you met her and Terese at the Chianti GTG - they have rentals around San Gimignano (not Chianti). Or contact Martin and www.villasitalia.com - he represents agencies with lots of Chianti rentals.

I just emailed Gaynor this afternoon, but not Martin. It just seems strange for me to contact someone in DC about renting an apartment an hour from my house. But that's globalization for ya.
