We are flying into Treviso from Paris on Ryanair It looks like the buses are timed to coincide with the Ryanair flight arrivals, which is a good thing. The bad thing, on checking the bus schedule is that it only seems to allow about 20 minutes from the time our flight arrives until the bus leaves. Is it safe to assume that if the flight is late the bus waits around for a while? Or if our luggage is the last off the plane (or heaven forbid, missing!!) what is the best alternate transportation to get to Piazzale Roma to catch the vaporatto to our Sant Angelo apartment. The flight is scheduled to arrive at 20:15 on a Friday.
Thanks so much, I think the train schedules work out much better than the bus timewise. Do you know how far from the airport the train station is? Walkable/taxi??
Is it safe to assume that we wouldn't need to make a reservation, which I think might be a problem if the flight is late or it takes forever to get our bags.
A cab to the Treviso station wouldn't cost you very much. I did it years ago and as I remember, it's only 5-10 minute trip. And if you are very late, ask the cab driver how much to go to Venice. Our cab driver wanted to take us there - he said it would be faster than the train. Very late at night, that might be an appealing option.

The cab is definitely an appealing option! Do you recall how much the taxi was going to be right into Venice?
This is great, I now have a number of options to work with. I think I'll sit down and figure out the cost of bus/train vs taxi and the time I'll save and go from there.
