Pat,
Perfect timing for reading your informative article. Big Grin I leave for Florence on Sunday Thumbs Up I hope to use the electric busses more than I have in the past.
I am taking the SITA bus to Panzano so I will report on how that goes Laugh

Thank you for taking the time to write your report, a great resource for Slowtrav!

It's nice, but at the end it seems to imply that the BTI is good all the way to Viterbo, which it's not. It's good on the part of the Roma-Viterbo train within the Rome city (Comune) limits. You can look in the "Metrebus system in Lazio" section of the ATAC site for regional passes beyond Rome.

In Florence Google Maps will give public transportation information to reach a destination if one travels with or has access to a computer. I have found that the times of the bus departure given by Google are not 100% accurate so it is important to check the schedule at the bus stop as well.
