I'm planning on going to Venice from Cinque Terre (Riomaggiore) in September and I was wondering how long the train ride would take and which route would be best?

According to trenitalia.it, the journey from Riomaggiore to Venice with the least stops goes through Florence and takes around 6 hours.
You can check the website for other options.
