Since we will be taking the Scavi tour at St. Peter's to see the 1st century excavations, we're also hoping to visit a few of the earliest Christian church sites. I do have information on Santa Pudenziana and Santa Prassede churches, with the hours they are open. We'd also like to see Santa Prisca church, Via di Santa Prisca,11 but I have not been able to find out what hours the church is open. Are visitors able to see the early lower levels in these very early churches?
Since we'll be in Rome for the Feast Day of Santa Pudenziana on May 19th, would anyone know if there is a special mass or service scheduled that day?
Our rental apartment is located on Piazza della Trinita' dei Pellegrini, near Campo di Fiori. I'm also looking for the hours and/or mass times for Santissima Trinità dei Pellegrini church.
Grazie!

In the hundreds of times that I have passed that church, I have only once ever seen the doors open (and by open in this case, I mean barely cracked). I stepped inside only to be yelled yet a minute later by the construction workers who were doing work inside of the church. At least I got a glimpse for a few seconds.
