Part of my family is flying into the Venice airport from London via British Airways. A daughter is meeting us there, flying from the US on Delta. She arrives 2 hours before we are scheduled to arrive and we would like to meet in the airport and then all travel into Venice together to our hotel.

I know there are all kinds of things that may go wrong with flight delays, etc. but if it all works out where would be a good place to meet?

There's a bar just outside and to the right of baggage claim that would serve as a nice meeting spot.

Anyone will be hard-pressed to spend 2 hours in Arrivals at Venice Airport! There is a bookshop to stroll around, the bar to sit in, apart from that nothing to do except wait. Might be better to tell them to go into Venice first, unpack at their hotel and then meet.

Of course Nan (venexiananan) is right. And to relieve any concerns, the Venice airport really is compact and easy to deal with.
