anybody driven from genoa area to venice,,,how long does it take, and is there a direct highway route........thanks,,,,,,,,,,,Susan

Susan - I just did a Mapquest for directions between Genoa and Venezia, and it's about 395 kilometers, and 3 hours 47 minutes. You spend about 20 km getting to your first autostrada, and then it's pretty much autostrada all the way, until you park your car outside of Venice.

On Google, just choose "maps" and "from: genoa, it, to: venezia, it" and you'll get 399kms and 4hrs 16 minutes.
