All I know is that the antique show, in Arezzo is this weekend. Does anyone know the details? Is it Saturday and Sunday, or just Sunday? What are the hours? Any suggestions as far as when is the best time to go?

Usually it is the first weekend of the month but as far as what the times are, I always went in the mornings so I am not sure when it closes. Usually there are a ton of people there, but in the summer it may be slower as so many Italians seemed to have headed to the seaside.

Yes, it starts tomorrow - Saturday.

Don't worry about getting there early in the morning. Remember, this is Italy and not many people are up at the crack of dawn. Arrive around 10 am - as if you are there earlier, some of the vendors won't be there yet.

Lots of vendors close for lunch - so between 1pm-3pm, you might want to have lunch, too.

Closing begins around 6pm or so - sometimes later. Sunday is a good day, too - as many of the retail stores normally closed are open on this weekend.

Have fun.

Just to be very specific for others who may want to go in future months... It is the first Sunday of the month and the Saturday before. Once in a while the market straddles two months because Sunday fell on the first day of the month.
Here is a pic of part of the market. That is Alessandra Federici from Cortona in the bottom left corner with me. She knows many of the dealers at market because her husband has an antique furniture restoration business.

We're planning on going in November. Any suggestions for parking - will it be well-marked?

I know...I know but I always stress about parking, can't help myself. Smile
