When pulling up the car I want this September are the quotes: Autoeurope in USA $2400. Autoeurope in Canada after exchange rate is $2215. Autoeurope in England after exchange rate is $2015.
Dunno for sure about England, but I've done it on their Canada site a number of times without a problem so I'd bet there's no problem. Worth a shot, don't you think?
You didn't mention how long you were staying in Italy but we leased a car through Autoeurope which was a lot less than renting since we were staying for a month. This was several years ago and we paid about 1500 USD for an 8 passenger van. I also tried using the other websites (Canadian, UK) etc. but was told I couldn't since I lived in the US but now I know better! Thanks for the tip!

We go each year for 4 to 6 weeks. In the past we've used Peugot lease buy back BUT the drop off fees have increased so much that we're better off with a straight rental.
We had a Peugot 2 years ago when Italy and France played in the final. We put this note on the car "Questa e una macchina a noleggie... Siamo non Francese" Then just to be sure we draped our French car with the Italian flag.
