Hello,
Can anyone give me good driving instructions for arriving at the rental car return place at Malpensa airport (coming from Lago d'Orta)?

Thanks!

You really need to run the viamichelin program for that--which I have done dozens of times for clients. Be sure to also select the detail for the MXP area. You will need to decide whether to take the longer route via the airport connector---much easier but longer.

Thanks Bob,
I'll look into that. But also, I recall seeing once on this board a great write up by Pauline specifically outlining how to navigate the car rental return at Rome's airport and I wonder if such a write up might have been done at some point on this board for Malpensa? I'll check with Pauline....

Hi
We have returned cars to both Rome and Malpensa... Malpensa is a piece of cake compared to Rome and the car return is really easy to find.
However this site gives directions

Malpensa is very, very easy. There are no complications there.

Finding the car return is simple. Finding an open gas station on the airport connector road on Sunday morning was not as easy for me. If you're looking to fill the car up as you return it, make sure to keep enough Euros to feed the gas pumps if there are no humans around.
