Here are a 5 lists for Wi-Fi HotSpots in Italy:

• WiFi Zones, Wireless Access Points, Wired LAN Broadband Locations from Travel-Island.com
• Italy - Wireless Hotspots From The Definitive WiFi Hotspot Directory
• Italian hotspots from Telecom Italia – In Italian Only
• Hot Spots – from Tin.it – In Italian Only
• JiWire – Find and safely use WiFI hotspots – anywhere!

On some of the above, you will need to enter the city and region you are or will be located in. I have also found out that you need to look at multiple lists to find specific Wi-Fi HotSpots in Italy. Unfortunately, none of the lists mentioned above, are all inclusive of Wi-Fi HotSpots for an Italian city and/or a region.
