Lovely travel note.

Just a correction: Buonconvento is directly northerly on the road from San Quirico d'Orcia; Pienza is in the other direction from San Quirico so you don't pass it on the way. I could remember myself making the short drive from San Quirico to Buonconvento, and enjoying the wonderful restaurant there (Il Poggiolo).
