Golly, if each post were a condemned criminal like in Roman times crucified at intervals along a major road -- such sweet folk, the Romans -- from Florence to Reggio Calabria at 1 every hundred meters there'd be nothing but corpses, and 250 guys left over to drown in the Mediterranean.

The message board stats say our message board has 64,236 total posts. If I am near 10,000, that means about 1/6 of the posts are mine. Argh!! The only excuse I have is that many of my posts are informational - links to new reviews, posts of web sites people have written to me about - - and in the first year of the board, I tried to post on every thread. I gave that up over a year ago, when the threads got into topics that I no longer knew anything about!!

Yes, let's have an online party at post 10,000.

Infopop used to allow only 100,000 posts to be kept online (so for us that would be about 3 years of posts), but I read recently that they are introducing an archive feature where you can still read the old posts, but cannot reply to them.
