Hi, Diane, One way would be: Land at Malpenso on the 12th. Travel to your destination in Orta/Maggiore.Stay four nights. 16th: Driving day...go straight through to Montpulciano. This is a five hour drive, about 500 kilometers. Stop in the Chianti for lunch. 23rd: Leave for Parma Nights of 23rd and 24th: Parma Drive to Piemonte. Nights of 24th, 25th and 26th in the Monferrato (southeastern part of ths region/ approx a 1.5 hour ride to Malpenso) 27th: leave early for Malpenso and return flight. Since the Tuscan part happens more or less in the middle of your vacation, this would be like doing a bit of a circle, visiting the northern destinations sort of at the beginning and at the end, and utilizing the "in between" stop of Parma on your way back up. Hi Diana,
Thank you so much for your suggestion. I was hoping you would answer my post.
Now on to hotel reservations for Piedmont and the Lakes!!!!
I really love planning once we decide when and where.
Regards Diane
