I am look at these two apartments for a fall trip. I love Banchi VecchiNY, but am a bit concerned about traffic noise. Any comments or recommendations?

Hi Cracker,

I haven't stayed in either one of those but did have the Bianchi Vecchi bookmarked for a long time until I finally booked
This apartment

Mine looks decidedly "funkier" than yours but I loved the idea of looking out at the Campo from the apartment.
Our trip is not until May but I promise a review upon return.

We haven't stayed in either of these, but we have stayed in a different place on Via Monserrato and loved the location. It's not a huge difference but it is a bit closer to center and almost certainly a little quieter.

Jan's suggestion also looks great - I too have always wanted to stay right on the Campo but haven't managed it yet.

Jan & Kevin,
Thanks for your thoughts. Jan, the Campo apartment looks really cute, I will look forward to hearing how you like it.

I am still trying to decide between the two apartments, the Banchi BecchiNY is so cool and has great reviews. Love the location of the other, but can only find one review on it which is a bit weird.

Oh, the indecision....

I certainly understand the indecision and have both aforementioned apartments on MY favorite list too.
We have stayed in this area a half dozen times and love the neighborhood.
If the windows are double paned, all should be good.

We are booked in Banchi Vecchi NY for 9 days in October, I will write a review afterward since it appears I am not the only member who has had this apartment bookmarked for sometime.

Thanks for your comments, it is a loooong time until we go, but planing is half the fun. I will post our itinerary as soon as I have it completed, we will be in Italy a little over a month this year.

Hi Jan,
I can't wait for your review. This apartment is right about the Norcineria Viola pork store.

jgk, I have stayed at the "funky" VRBO apartment twice and love it. We will be staying there again this April. Feel free to ask me any specific questions you may have.

I stayed in Banchi Vecchi a number of years ago and loved it. Wasn't so close to the Campo that the noise was a problem, but I would worry about that being as close as the second one you posted. But I am a super light sleeper. The area is fantastic though. Great restaurants and convenient to everything.
