This is easy to get to from our hotel, but we'd like to avoid driving illegally through pedestrian plazas getting lost like we did last year. On the map (ha ha), this looks like an easy shot out to major roads and A1 (heading south to the Amalfi coast).

Does this make sense? Or is it better to go to the Borghese place that everyone recommends, though it's further away? Oh, we're staying in the Testaccio area.

I'm absolutely no expert on this, but I put in your Via Pellegrino Matteucci and Autostrada del Sole into www.mappy.com. I got a map, street directions, and the information that it would take 24 minutes (give or take 10 minutes, I would think...) to get from one to the other.
